A prolific bloomer with large flowers and it multiplies fast. The color is a stunning rosy coral pink. Don’t overlook this one because it is not as pricey as some of the newer varieties, I almost did and am so glad I ordered it!
This plant is way above some of others I paid more money for. Very satisfied with my choice of purchasing this Daylily. The flowers are big and beautiful. I would rate this in my top 10 in choices, as we have about 70 different plants. We like color in our flower beds and this stands right up there.
I just got my first daylily order from Oakes. I just wanted to say, I’m thoroughly impress with my daylily plants, and how clean they were, and how quickly they arrived! I have ordered daylily plants from many sources, from locally, to from as far as Cal. These plants are beautiful! I will be ordering from Oakes from now on! Thank you! Linda E.
Wow! This was my free daylily, planted last fall. I had asked for “anything big and bright” —well, this one is for sure…it is much brighter than the photo, a tropical-looking blend of orange and pink, very eyecatching, tall and just a beautiful flower form. I don’t always care for orange or peach tones but this one is gorgeous. It says it blooms “mid-season” but here in Chicago the daylily season is just beginning, and this is one of my first daylilies to bloom. I had to look it up to see when it was supposed to bloom. I wasn’t expecting to see it yet. Highly recommend.
This is a really pretty one. I’ve had it in my garden for two seasons now. The picture isn’t the truest representation of the color but it’s still very pretty.
Absolutely love Cedar WaxWing’s blushing rosy pink color. The flowers are carried on strong stems. This daylily is a highlight in my collection of many from Oakes.

It’s pretty simple: most of you can grow any of the daylilies we sell. If you live in an area with a sustained cold period like we do in East Tennessee, you can grow all the varieties. However, If you live in an area that doesn’t get freezing weather in the winter, dormant varieties won’t work for you; you need to choose evergreen or semi-evergreen varieties.
We normally include bonus plants equal to about 20% of your order. And these aren’t “leftover” plants, or “whatever we’ve got lying around.” These are the same huge, healthy plants we sell. Just leave the decision up to us— we’ll pick something we know you’ll love!

This was the first year and I couldn’t wait to see it bloom. I wasn’t disappointed. It is a gorgeous dark peachy pink and holds the color all day.

Loved the name and the beautiful, bright deep pink, non-fading in east-facing sun, flower. Hardy, strong grower the first year.

Peachier than in the picture, but a beautiful floriferous daylily nonetheless. Fades a bit in sun.

This is a nice medium pink. Not quite as bright as the picture, but still a pretty pink. Many buds and sturdy scapes.
