A reliable mid season bloomer, we typically see it around the middle of June. If you live to our north, you’ll likely see it a few weeks after we do. If you live to our south, you’ll see it a couple of weeks before us.
A dormant daylily, Victorian Princess is best grown in gardens that receive a sustained winter cold period, like those in zones 8 or lower.
A gorgeous daylily on its own, it looks especially lovely when planted near hot pink or bright yellow.

WHAT DAYLILIES CAN I GROW: Most of you can grow any of the daylilies we sell. If you live in an area with a sustained cold period like we do in East Tennessee, you can grow all the varieties. However, If you live in an area that doesn’t get freezing weather in the winter (like zones 9 and 10), dormant varieties won’t work for you; you’ll need to choose evergreen or semi-evergreen varieties.
BIG PLANTS! When it comes to daylily plants, bigger is better! All of the plants we ship will be three fans or larger — two or three times (or more) what you might receive from other companies. Larger plants get established faster and bloom more quickly!
FARM-FRESH TO YOU! All of your plants will be freshly dug when you order. The leaves are trimmed and the plants are washed and air-dried. Your daylilies will be out of the ground less than 48 hours before they’re headed your way.
BONUS DAYLILIES: We send free daylilies (we call them “bonus” daylilies) with every order. These daylilies are equal to about 20% of your order, you get to choose what you’d like at checkout.

I purchased 3 this spring for my new perrenial bed. While I have been much for pale pink flowers I was not disappointed! The pale pink with green throat really stood out. This pastel variety has won a permanent place in my zone 4 Wisconsin yard.

This is a standout every summer since I purchased it! Multiple blooms every day and I love that I can get photographs of groups of blooms quite often. That beautiful green throat is gorgeous! And it stands out in the hot SC sun all day without wilting too! That is so important to me.

Pretty Pastels

One of my favorites. The light pink and white petals with yellow throat just really stand out in my garden. I live in Long Island zone 7 and it blooms all July. It intermingles with Persian Market planted next to it and they are so pretty together. It is way taller than the 22 inches in the description. It has so many blooms I can’t wait every morning to see it!

I received Victorian Princess this April as a bonus plant. Thank you so much! I love this daylily. By mid/late June, I had multiples of light lavender/pink blooms. The color goes very well with the other daylilies I had ordered (thanks again for taking that into consideration with my bonus plant). The blooms did not fade as the day went on. I live in zone 6a and Victorian Princess receives full sun. I highly recommend this daylily!

Purchased this potted for fall planting. First year bloomed very nicely – one of my top favorites. Second year blooming – 7 scapes and many blooms for several weeks! Is nearer 36″ – not so short.

This year my Victorian Princesses started blooming in the early part of July, and I was still getting a few blooms in mid-August. They’re a lovely color for me, both in the morning and in the afternoon even after they’ve faded a bit. But even with the change in color they hold up well and look nice in the afternoon. I’ve got them in a somewhat difficult part of my yard but even with the ravages of our New Hampshire winter they do quite well.

What is your hardiness zone? Zone 7
Victorian Princess was new to me this spring, and it’s even more beautiful in person than it is in the photos I’ve been eyeing for several years. Short scapes, large flowers, and a pink/cream color combo that’s equally eye-catching up close or from a distance made me fall in love the first time it bloomed. Since it already has several flowers (in its first year!), I can’t wait to see it in Year Two.

The first of my new lilies to bloom. We bought because of our daughter, Victoria, and have not been disappointed. It lives up to its regal name. I planted all in April and this opened the end of May. Absolutely gorgeous. The colors blend together in such subtle harmony that you have to stop and look closer to see the different pinks.

Victorian Princess is a gorgeous flower and has huge blooms. The stem is very sturdy and stands straight up. The blooms are a very soft rosy pink and creamy petals and have a light dusting of sugar on the petals, and doesn’t fade out. I would have given it a 10, but my Victorian Princess is very tall, 30+ inches, instead of 22. I have the flower is a couple of different places in my garden, both tall. Gorgeous, Gorgeous blooms!!!
