6″ bloom, 32″ tall, Mid-Late Season + rebloom, Dormant

‘Savannah Debutante’ daylily is nothing short of charming. Beautiful peachy-apricot double blooms are a gorgeous color and have a full, fluffy form.  Petals are ribbed and have wide ruffled edges. Big 6″ blooms are held high on scapes just shy of 3′ in our East Tennessee garden. Good rebloom means you’ll see these fluffy lovelies off and on throughout the season. A nice light fragrance adds to its allure.

HOW TO GROW DAYLILIES: Daylilies are very easy-to-grow. They like a lot of sun and they like a lot of water. For more information on how to care for daylilies, click here.
WHAT DAYLILIES CAN I GROW: Most of you can grow any of the daylilies we sell. If you live in an area with a sustained cold period like we do in East Tennessee, you can grow all the varieties. However, If you live in an area that doesn’t get freezing weather in the winter (like zones 9 and 10), dormant varieties won’t work for you; you’ll need to choose evergreen or semi-evergreen varieties.

BIG PLANTS! When it comes to daylily plants, bigger is better! All of the plants we ship will be three fans or larger — two or three times (or more) what you might receive from other companies. Larger plants get established faster and bloom more quickly!

FARM-FRESH TO YOU! All of your plants will be freshly dug when you order. The leaves are trimmed and the plants are washed and air-dried. Your daylilies will be out of the ground less than 48 hours before they’re headed your way.

BONUS DAYLILIES: We send free daylilies (we call them “bonus” daylilies) with every order. These daylilies are equal to about 20% of your order and are the same huge, healthy plants we sell. Just leave the decision up to us and we’ll pick something you’re sure to love!

ABOUT US: Oakes Daylilies is a family-owned daylily farm that’s been in business for three generations. Our daylilies grow in home gardens, city parks and botanical gardens across the nation– including Hawaii and Canada. We are known in the industry as Daylily Experts and grow over 1000 varieties of daylilies on nearly 70 acres in East Tennessee. But over 50 years ago, we started just like you—with one daylily in a home garden.

    A True Beauty

I think this flower is really a soldier disguised as a southern belle. Here in my Zone 6a/SW PA garden she really came into her own after being planted in Spring of 2017. No late bloomer for me: she started blooming the last week in June and has been going non stop- Its Aug 26 and i still have buds!!!Absolutely the longest blooming daylily i have here, and I have quite a few! And what beautiful, large double blooms of a creamy apricot held on strong stems that has weathered the rainstorms and awful heat and humidity of this summer. Give this deb a little time and she’ll become a must have for your flower family! WOW!

    Perfect late season blooms

    Tim Clark

I love this daylily! It has perfect late season blooms at a time when most are gone or dwindling down. It has great color, lots of scapes, and big double blooms. A real winner in my book!

Mid-August and this beauty still has a dozen buds on it. And wonderfully fragrant! Just about all of my other daylilies have stopped blooming, so it is fantastic to still have one plant joyously opening new blooms every day. I cannot remember if I ordered this one or if it was a bonus, but either way, I am going to order more of these so that I have daylily color for as long as possible every year. Do yourself a favor and order several of these. I wish I did!

Wow!! This is clearly a spectacular double. It’s August 14th in my MN garden and it still has plenty of flower buds to go. The daylily is a clear peachy pale orange color. It’s a little hard to describe but the petals look like waves. I would definitely recommend this along with Big Kiss for double daylily lovers.

I don’t usually care for doubles but this beauty has won my respect. Intricate ruffly huge blooms of gorgeous color. The blooms are on sturdy scapes and the bud count is impressive. The plant has multiplied quickly too!

Received this beauty as a gift from a friend, knowing how much I love the doubles. The beautiful pastel combination of colors and form make it one of our favorites. No way you would be dissatisfied with this one.
