  1. Beautiful but hates our heat

    Brant Mauthe (verified owner)

I love the bright orange coloring but it struggled with our long, repeating periods of 95+ deg heat in late June to late August (Dallas, TX zone 8a). It kept going dormant and then would start to grow only to have it happen again. It finally died. Not Oak’s fault. I should have planted it in more shade or moved my garden north, out of state. It might be worth it! This one should be perfect for areas with slightly less intense heat.

  2. WHATCHAMACALLIT a very good bloomer

    Jeffrey W. Emerson (verified owner)

WHATCHAMACALLIT is a very good bloomer with sturdy flower spikes that stand up to rain with flowers in bloom. It bloomed heavily in early mid season took a rest and is blooming again. The color is very good. My one knock is that it sometimes opens so many close together blooms tht some flowers can’t open completely.

  3. Good rebloomer

    Sheridyn Morgan (verified owner)

This one was a prolific bloomer and then rebloomer. It gave me a proliferation, but I think I didn’t probably go through all the steps. Ordered more.
