WHAT DAYLILIES CAN I GROW: Most of you can grow any of the daylilies we sell. If you live in an area with a sustained cold period like we do in East Tennessee, you can grow all the varieties. However, If you live in an area that doesn’t get freezing weather in the winter (like zones 9 and 10), dormant varieties won’t work for you; you’ll need to choose evergreen or semi-evergreen varieties.
BIG PLANTS! When it comes to daylily plants, bigger is better! All of the plants we ship will be three fans or larger — two or three times (or more) what you might receive from other companies. Larger plants get established faster and bloom more quickly!
FARM-FRESH TO YOU! All of your plants will be freshly dug when you order. The leaves are trimmed and the plants are washed and air-dried. Your daylilies will be out of the ground less than 48 hours before they’re headed your way.
BONUS DAYLILIES: We send free daylilies (we call them “bonus” daylilies) with every order. These daylilies are equal to about 20% of your order, you get to choose what you’d like at checkout.

This is such a pretty and unique daylily. The yellow against the pink/lavender is eye catching. It does not have as many blooms as some of my other dayliles but I’m ok with that since it is such a beautiful bicolor bloom. I used to live in zone 7 Long Island but now I moved to Rexford, NY zone 5b and it is still one of my first daylilies to bloom. Such a great way to start off the daylily season.

First year to bloom and 3rd bloom was an 8 petal/sepal polymerous . . .similar to what shown in the ad. I hope to have more. shown as mid season, but mine was an early bloomer. Very pretty

I have had Tut in my garden for 12 years and if I had to pick 20 (out 235) it would be one of them because it represents the new bloom season to me. It is one of the first to bloom and is simple but outstanding because of it’s by-color presentation. Not a profuse bloomer but enough; 6 scapes
and 60 buds in my N. Idaho location. Would probably have more bloom if not crowed like in my garden. UPDATE: It is now 9 years later and it just gets better every year. While it is listed differently, it is very early in my garden, actually one of the first to bloom every year.
