  1. Stella Supreme

My Stella Supreme isn’t a mature plant yet, but it has put up a couple of rounds of scapes this year. It was a very early bloomer in my 7a garden. The blooms are fairly delicate and don’t handle heavy rain very well, but that could be said of most daylilies that I own. The fans tend to be fairly small, and the scapes are short, so it is a good plant to place at the front of a bed or border.

  2. Thank you, Stella!

I planted three Stella Supreme Daylilies in my zone 9 (Fleming Island FL) on 3/20/20. All bloomed perfectly lovely lilies in less than two months. The largest of the three has rebloomed. None of the plants have reached their 20” normal height, but I’m optimistic that they they will and I’ll enjoy even more blooms next year. Also, I owe special thanks to Stella, since an internet search for a source for this daylily led me to discovering Oakes. I am now a happy daylily addict, and have 13 types purchased from Oakes this year. Oh, and another four types are on order at this moment. Happy, happy, happy….
