Received this as a bonus plant in October 2020 and would not have ordered one because it is a dormant type and they don’t do well where I live in Florida. WOW, Siloam Ethel Smith has its first bloom today and I have to say thank-you Oakes for sending it with the order. I am not disappointed.

There is something truly gorgeous about the colors of this daylily! It must be viewed in person in order to see the full beauty of it! Even though I have many daylily varieties that are much more expensive and larger in bloom size, this was the daylily variety which I admired every single bloom and took at least 40 pictures of during the season! It multiplies really quickly too!

Beautiful cream/lt pink flower with bright pink eye-zone and yellow throat. Perfect, detailed flower with bright eyezone. Scapes are dark green and healthy. Very happy with this pretty, healthy daylily.

This is the first year and she is like a painting with her soft colour and the pop of color in the eyezone.

Giving this a ’10’ because it is so reliable and prolific. Never a disappointment. The soft, pastel blend of colors are so beautiful and pleasing.

I love the shape of this small flower, it’s very distinctive. I think it is best as a supporting “team player” in a mixed border because the color compliments just about everything. I have it in between larger, showier daylilies – reds, pinks, and purples. This is a tough plant with lots of flowers, it blooms for a long time, and it’s really hard to go wrong with it.

Very reliable in every way. Rated as a 9 because it can be overpowered by more dramatic colors and patterns.

I have moved my poor plant every year and it bounces back each time, looking great. I think I finally have it where I want it! Always a pleaser!

This is one of my favorites. The contrast between the light colored self and rose eye is very striking. It has a great bud count too! I have enjoyed this flower tremendously!
