5″ bloom, 24″ tall, Mid Season + rebloom, Dormant

One of our own introductions, Rayon de Miel is French for Honeycomb, and we named it so because the color reminded us of a honeycomb. A very nocturnal variety, tomorrow’s blooms start opening today.

I purchased one of these out of curiosity along with some others on your Memorial
day sale. Within a month, I noticed a bloom on the little 6 inch tall plant. The color is difficult to decribe, but as I looked out the window at it in the twilight I almost forgot to drink my tea ! The darker it grew, the more this little baby glowed . I couldn’t stop staring at it. Needless to say, I ordered 3 more right away, so am lookong forward to a marvelous clump next year !

    Super bloomer

There were so many blooms this year on Rayon de Miel. It just kept blooming. So pretty and no two blooms exactly alike & it was even pretty after fading in the sun. All it needs now is rain to bloom some more! I highly recommend this one! Not only are the many blooms pretty but they are interesting in color as well. It bloomed for several weeks.

    Rayon de Miel

A wonderful grower; sublime flowers are nicely spaced and held above foliage on well-branched, nicely budded stems (branching can be tree-like); flowers open the evening before. Heavy substance. A great breeder, too. Highly recommended!
