  2. Spectacular Blossoms

    Barbara Warren (verified owner)

I ordered one Margo Reed on 3/17/20. Oakes provided a large plant that I split into three (the only time I split an Oakes clump) and planted on 3/20 in my zone 9 Florida garden where they receive morning shade and intense afternoon son. All three bloomed on June 7, each flower was spectacular!

  3. A TEN!!!!!!!!

    thefantasticdontastic

My first year with Margo and after seeing her too beautiful to describe blooms, I moved her out of an overcrowded area into a prime for close up viewing and fragrance for next year. I CAN’T WAIT!!! I am frugal and seldom will rebuy the same variety but this is one I just might. OOOHHHH I CAN’T WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR She deserves a rating of 10! zone 3 Wisconsin

  4. Margo Reed Indeed

As you probably know, I’ve purchased many daylilies from Oakes through the years, and now we live in a condo near Atlanta, Ga, so my garden area is limited big time. But when I saw Margo Reed indeed, I just couldn’t resist. Oh, I didn’t tell you, my wife is also named Margo and that perfect white bloom reminds me of the gown Margo wore on our wedding day 55 years ago.

  5. Worth every penny!

    Tim Clark (verified owner)

I got this one last spring so this was the first year of bloom in my garden. It was worth the wait and worth every penny! I had four tall scapes with lots of buds on each one. Blooms were big and frilly — almost like an orchid in summer! When others were almost finished, Margo Reed Indeed was a highlight to the late season garden. Love it and highly recommend this one!

Big, beautiful white flower that blooms pretty late for me. Easily seen around the entire garden.

This is a stunner! Margo Reed indeed holds her own amidst all other daylilies in the bed. She is a stunning white and her shape and form are gorgeous!, you need to have at least one!
