7″ bloom, 30″ tall, Mid-Late Season, Dormant

This may not be the whitest of the near whites, but it is certainly the one that gets the most “oohs” and “aahs” in our garden. Huge blooms with an open form and a yellow throat.

  1. Jolly White Giant is a Standout

    Patricia Bartlett (verified owner)

Jolly White Giant appears relatively early in my daylily garden and is a gorgeous one to start, particularly with the early pinks around it. It is big but not super tall, so any color can work well with it, but it will be the one to stand out. The flower is big, and I have been impressed with the length of time that it continues to bloom. We are in an area where reblooming never happens except with Stella D’oro , but the length of time that Jolly White continues to bloom makes it similar to reblooming. A great plant for a great price. Best White I have.

This is the most impressive of the whites that I have seen so far. I have several varieties of whites in my 3 year old “white” daylily garden. This one stands out. It is huge. When it first blooms and I walk by it, I just have to say, “Wow!”

Although it is really a light creamy yellow, it has been a real beauty! I have been impressed with the volume of bloom, and the blooms truly are huge. It looks gorgeous with purple tones too. I highly recommend this one!
