    A real Dream Catcher

    Patricia Bartlett (verified owner)

My Dream Catcher is located on a hill right in front of Selma Long Legs. The two are amazing together. Dream Catcher has the most unusual curls and because it is a huge spider the curls move with the slightest wind. She is hard to get a good picture because she is so big and the curls go in so many directions. Her colors the Yellow eyezome, and beautiful orange red curls make her absolutely unable to resist. I have had friends and who have commented that she also captures her name, and they often talk about a spiritual connection with her. She is the only daylily that I have ever heard that about and I have hundreds of them. You have to be careful about where she is planted as she is tall and the blooms so huge that she can dwarf others. Some colors that work well with her are Selma Long Legs (orange) Kindly Light (huge yellow) And Ruby Spider. All of those are huge and hold their own and make an amazing cluster. Perfect name for a Perfect spider.

I wish I had 5 of these clumped together. But this one shows off itself in an amazing way. It towers over the other daylilies and is so different than any other daylily I have ever had (which is hundreds of daylilies). I love it. The yellows, greens, curls and heights are wonderful. One other interesting aspect is that it turns with the sun. This morning the two flowers were facing up but 30 minutes later one was facing down. Amazing. Buy this daylily if you have space.

Grows very well in Fargo ND. Zone 3 climate. Starts blooming late July and keeps on until frost. Very showy with HUGE blooms. One of my favorites.
